This is an Athenian marble sculpture. I found this picture at https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/248132
The UK museums like to keep the greek art statues in their custody and they have refused to give them back. Now why is this? Well it could be for multiple reasons. One: they could just want to protect them and that transporting them is dangerous for the sculpture. Or Two: They just want to keep it to themselves because They are now a part of their culture as well. Either way i think the greek should get their artwork back. Even though they could be damaged they would still be able to have their stuff back and could repair it in a way.
